Amanda contacted me back in December of 2017; she described her wedding day as dreamy and whimsical. She went on to explain that it was Disney themed and they wanted to be able to capture the magic that surrounded their wedding. I quickly knew this was a wedding I wanted to be a part of. I could tell from our conversations that Amanda and Andrew had a sense of magic in their souls.
I finally got to meet Amanda and Andrew in real life last week, and the magic I had sensed over the phone and e-mails just spilled out of them. They had a contagious love that welled up from deep within them, it came out in the way the spoke to each other, laughed with each other and how they smiled when they talked about what life together will look like. They have a sense of wonder and excitement that is often lost with adults. They have held onto a part of life that many have lost and it was refreshing to see two people who truly believe in the magic of love and life. I am not saying everything they have or will face has been easy but I am saying I believe they will face everything head on, knowing that they have a partner who believes in them and believes in the good of the other and with that kind of combination I know they will find purpose, joy and success.
Amanda and Andrew, I pray that you never lose that sense of magic. That your enjoyment of each other never fades and that in the midst of a world full of so much sorrow your love and joy in life would continue to be contagious. Always believe in each other and know that the magic you carry is so so special. I can't wait to celebrate with you in just a few weeks!
