I had the pleasure of meeting Kayla and John in December at the AFIT Ball. The Air Force Institute of Technology, or AFIT, is the Air Force’s graduate school of engineering and management as well as its institution for technical professionals' continuing education. The Denton Family came to Ohio from Califorina about 2 years ago and are moving on from Dayton in May after the arrival of their second child and John's graduation from AFIT.
I love meeting and working with service men and women. I love hearing their stories and seeing where life has taken them. The Denton family was no exception. I loved hearing about their journey from California. Their experience here in Dayton ( which more often then not people think is better then they expected ) and their excitement behind their next stop. The Air Force life is by no means easy; it is challenging and continues to move families away from friends and loved ones and I am thankful for the service of this family and the commitment they have made.
